A rainy day

Here it is, a rainy Sunday, July 22cnd, 2007.

I just put the date in the post content so that if something messes up the time-space continuum and causes computers to recalculate the milliseconds between now and whatever time they start measuring from, I’ll have a benchmark with which to compare the two times.

Yeah, I know that isn’t going to happen, but it struck me as a fun thing to do, and it’s MY blog, so NYAH ;)

So I’m working again on a Sunday. Pressing buttons and waiting for things to finish, pressing buttons again a half hour later. Doing laundry. Doing dishes. Perhaps I’ll scrub the shower down in a bit. Watching anime while I wait. The latest one I’m watching is called something like “XXXHolic”. I have to say, this is one of the most freakin’ annoying shows on earth. Although I’m learning a little from it, the character design is annoying and skeletal, and the attitude of the main character is EXTREMELY annoying. However, the content matter of the anime is deep and thorough enough to keep me watching it.

Is there some sort of finishing school for romanticism as it applies to relationships? Valuing thought above emotion for the sake of defense is one thing, but as far as I’m concerned, I’m past that stage and emotion needs to be expressed at least occasionally. I’ve been visiting some people regularly for the past four months. I need to work this weekend and very likely next, and possibly the weekend after. Hence, the peeps won’t get to hang with me. One of them sent me a message, “It’s like there’s something missing here without you!” *grin* Warm and fuzzy. Yay. The others didn’t even think to say that. FINISHING SCHOOL. Or something. I’m pretty sure this kind of stuff can’t be trained, though. What’s a guy to do…

Anyway, I guess I’m going to go make a pizza.
