Wireless of the World

They don’t accept returns. Their phones have a 60 day warranty, but they won’t let you return a phone for a refund. If the phone breaks, they will replace or repair it, but they won’t let you return it. I’m going to have to eBay the phone now *sigh*

Wireless of the World Enterprises, Inc. does retail sales of cell phones.

Their addresses are:

7607 Causeway Blvd
Tampa, FL 33619

As a former employee of Wireless of the World I can state that these actions are all at the direction of the owner of the company Patrick Toney. Note the made up owner Frank White was the name we were instructed to give as the owners name if pressed for it.

If anyone would like the truth about anything that happened at that shop from Around Nov. 15 until today, if I remember you or your case I’ll gladly tell you all I remember and even go to court with you and testify on your behalf if that’s the route you would like to take.

I can no longer work for such lying cheating scum as Patrick Toney. If I was invovled in cheating you out of your money I’m sorry, it was a job that I really needed to make my rent and I’ll do whatever is in my power to make Patrick Toney make it right for you.

I appreciate it, man. I’ve been screwed over at an employer before…well, they thought they were screwing me over. The employer refused to give me my tax form for 2004 last year. I made every reasonable effort to contact them in both writing and by telephone, and they still didn’t give me my form. As such, the IRS required that I estimate what I made for that year. I was honest and I pulled my bank statements to get the accurate amount, but I could have claimed a ton of money and been paid taxes for it if I had wanted.

The reason I’m mentioning that is because I’m sure that you’ll get compensated one way or another for having to work for such as misleading company as Wireless of the World, in the long run. Just hang in there, buddy.

You didn’t cheat me out of my money at all, it was some well-dressed black lady who sits in the office behind the counter with her little one-way mirror. And I’m guessing it wasn’t even her, but her boss that coached her to do it.

Another reason that I’m not chasing it with Wireless is that I ended up giving their sucky little phone away to a friend just before Christmas. He liked it…but he likes all cell phones ;) I figured he could use it for parts or a backup phone or a paperweight or something.

I need to talk to either of you, preferrably the former employee. I was just ripped off by this company. I went in to have a screen replaced on my Blackberry and the phone wasn’t working when I got it back. He refuses to fix it now. I need to know how this unethical guy works. Please e-mail me so we can talk. Thanks…
