I’ve switched over from TextPattern to something called “WordPress” in the hope that I don’t have to go deep into the .php code to display a list of recent links where I want to display them. If somebody who uses TextPattern wants to try to convince me otherwise, I encourage you — please do. You can find a link to WordPress on the right side of this page.

No biggie, I hadn’t posted much yet anyway.

I went to the doctor today, five days is an absurd amount of time to go without a voice. The man got mad at me because I didn’t want to pay for a $150.00 prescription. He gave me something else at that point. I then researched his new prescription and found a $14 generic. insert grunting noise here

That being said and done, I have acute bronchitis and pharyngitis. Both of them need to go away, as far as I’m concerned.

Although it’s not the fastest machine in the world, I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with it. It’s going to stay with me for a long time. I was with my 433 mhz machine for five years (since 2000), and I intend to stay with this one at least as long as that (upgrading it when I can, of course, but touch the motherboard and ye shall feel mine wrath)
