The first man to die

I was browsing Wikipedia, and came across this article that describes the Maori mythological belief of the first man to die. It seems that a goddess crushed him with her vagina.

Well then, now that we’ve got THAT settled…

It’s my birthday!! :)

This is my official birthday blog post. I’m 24 today. Go me! :)

Things of interest:

There’s an illegal prime number that decodes DVDs. It seems that possession of this prime number inside the United States of America is illegal.

George Soros’ native language is esperanto. Esperanto is not a real language. It is a constructed language.

So hard to find a good background…

I’ve got a good background, though :) At least in the techie field, IMHO. Now I just need a good foreground…

I’ve got a new job. I’m loving it thus far. I don’t have to wear slacks to work! :D :D It’s nice being in a more natural dress environment, it makes it easier for me to think.

Also, when looking for backgrounds for IRC chat, you either have to go with very light backgrounds, or very dark backgrounds. If you have a software that lets you set one main background and make individual chat windows within that software different transparencies against that background, you can get away with colorful backgrounds. Unfortunately, I don’t know of one of those softwares yet, so I’m doomed to suffer with either very light or very dark at the moment. LET ME KNOW if you know of an IRC software that provides this wonderful transparency/background feature.

I was surfing xxdeviantxARTxx recently (remove the xx’s) (they changed their browse feature! I don’t like that at all, I think they’re tardo-locious now), and I saw two backgrounds that met the dark criteria after browsing about ten pages. Dark screens with light text is easier on the eyes than light screens with dark text.

Here are the two backgrounds:

xxdeviantxxartxcomxx/deviation/36924184/
xxdeviantxxartxcomxx/deviation/36931937/

Again, remove the xx’s and replace the single x with a dot.

They don’t DESERVE my linkage after changing the browse feature…
