People are not just people. We are collections of our experiences. There is nothing unique about us in our makeup.
There IS something unique about us in the way we handle and deal with those experiences, though. Those are the things that shape us as people. Everybody can do the right thing or expected thing in reaction to something. That is part of what links us together and makes us a functioning part of society.
It’s the things that are wrong with us, the way that we deal with the things that make us in a bad or unusual way, that make us different from each other. As somebody once said, “It is our faults that make us unique.”
What brought about this post, you ask? You mean besides my normal rambling along?
I was just thinking about how all of my best qualities were inspired by other people. None of my best qualities were inspired by myself. And that led me to think about our makeup as human beings. Humans and plants and animals…we’re all organic. The strong survive, that sort of thing. All of my best qualities were inspired by other people and the need to grow and push above the canopy of mediocrity surrounding me in certain areas.

Logitech’s software called “QuickCam”, in its latest version as of 07/28/2007, prevents Thunderbird from updating. You will need to right-click on the QuickCam icon in the system tray and click “Exit” in order to continue with the updates.

…from one of my favorite funny shows. And here is the JavaScript error given when visiting their website
“…he was banned from the ‘92 games for forcibly mounting a pommel horse against its will…”
“…yes, he’s the powerlifter that invented the one handed clean and jerk, but he couldn’t even get himself to the finish…”
“…he tried for a full 7-Eleven and ended up with a mouthful of dirty Slurpee…”
“…he’s showing us the finger that was lost to his partner after doing a dangerous overhead cameltoe…”
“…left retarded from some intense training sessions with his Olympic sparring partner…those guys were jabbing each other all night long…”
“…he just BARELY managed to hang on, but hey, the Jamaican team is known for their excellent danglers, which gives you a huge advantage during stiff competitions…”
“…she’s got the amazing ability to jump without ever actually leaving the ground…”

I was talking with DH about milk and the price of gas.
We’ve determined that diesel milk comes from unrefined cows.
That is all.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I hurt my knee last weekend doing some DDR. I twisted the wrong way and pulled something. Now the pulled feeling is gone, but it feels like it wants to give at any time. It’s felt like that for the past 4 or 5 days now…I hope that it heals soon. I want to do DDR again!
Tonight is going to be interesting. I’m going to go visit Pepsi. I’m only going to be able to be there for a short time because I have to work tomorrow morning, though. Assuming I get there around 7, I’ll have perhaps 14 or 15 hours to be there, and hopefully I’ll get some sleep, so maybe 6 or 7 hours total with Pepsi. I hope everybody does the right thing tonight :( For some people, some decisions are very hard.
